Hope winning this medal spark up the team's spirit to excel further. The win although just among three other participating country, do heal the the wound left by Harimau Malaya.
Harimau Malaya A defeated Myanmar 2-0 in a very exciting game performed by both teams. Though at the beginning of the first half, it seem like a lob-sided game where Harimau Muda A were on full attack. However the game became more exciting during the second half when Myanmar changed the game set up with dangerous attacks and some on target shot but failed by the on form goalkeeper.
