Dingoes In Dire Need Of Funds For 17th Asian Games 2014

Many of us might not be aware that there are women who play rugby in Malaysia. Not that soft game of touch rugby but the normal rugby game played by men. There are already a few womens team in Malaysia mostly concentrated in the Klang valley.

This year the national Women Rugby team plan to play their inaugural game  at the Incheon Asian Games in Korea. However they were stop short of achieving their dream due to lack of funds. The Women's Rugby team can go to Incheon as a category B sports which means they have to bear all the bills and only will be refunded if they come back with a medal.

If the Womens Rugby teams make it to Incheon it will be a breakthrough for women in Malaysia since it will be the first ever women representative in the sports of rugby for Malaysia.

I receive this message on Whatsapps
The girls are doing their best to the extend of digging into their own pocket to make ends meet and this is some determination that is quite rare for among Malaysian athletes. I was made to know that they had been traveling to matches as far as India and Hong Kong to take part in women rubgy after digging into their own purse.
The RSC Dingoes is one of the top women rubgy teams in Malaysia.

Read about how they started on their Facebook

Since Asian Games is just less than two months away and they need to proceed with their confirmation, the girls are in dire need of finance from sponsors.
