The Century Sprint at SEA Games 2015

Achieving Mother of Gold Medal at the SEA Games 2015 in Singapore for Malaysia is slipping away when Vietnam tarnish the image of Malaysian Football with a thumping 5-1 score. The next match is with a team as good as Vietnam.

However there is still another glittering Gold from the Games where most of the attention will be focused on. The Century sprint.

Malaysia last brought back the Gold in the 100 metres was from Nazmizan Mohammad (10.48) at the 2003 Edition SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

In Singapore, Nazmizam make a comeback but not to regain his Gold Medal on the 100 metres track but as a coach for Mohd Izu Yahya, Malaysia also registered another sprinter in Nixson A Kennedy. Will either one of them bring back the glory of Track and Field by winning the Gold Medal? The question will be answered on Tuesday 9th of June 2015.

Gold (Jirapon Meenapra - THA), Silver (Iswandi - INA) and Bronze (Muammad Amiruddin Jamal) Medalist from the 2013 SEA Games in Myanmar is still running in Singapore.

The Heats will commence at 10.45 am and the finals at 6.15 pm ad the National Stadium.

The record for the record for the event, 10.17 held by Suryo Agung Wibowo from Indonesia clocked at the 2009 Vientiane Games, Vietnam on 13 Dec 2009.
