During the Semi Final return league at My Minth, Hanoi, Malaysia sealed the vistory beating Vietnam 4-2 with a goal average of 5-4.
Vietnam tried very hard to close up the gap when the Malaysians changed to defensive and they paid their dues when the Viets manage to net another goal. That keep the fans of both sides standing on their feet. Another two goals and the Viets march through. Another two goals will see Malaysia march out of the tournament. Given more time I think the Viets can do that base on their fighting spirit during the dying minutes.
Even though the Viet lost but they had taught the Malaysians what is determination to win. They played to their full effort till the final whistle to boot Malaysia out but time is not on their side. Maybe luck too, because one of the tries hit the upright. Or else the result might be different.
The Malaysian and all team sports athletes should learn the fighting spirit of the Vietnamese. Just compare the games when Malaysia lost 2-1 at Shah Alam and the final league in Hanoi. Compare the Malaysian player at Shah Alam and the Vietnamese players at Hanoi. There's a mark different in the fighting spirit of both teams.
The Final match will be played in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur respectively.
